Acknowledgement and resolution
BookPGnow aims to acknowledge a consumer grievance within 48 hours and resolve it within one month from receipt, as required for applicable e-commerce grievances. Where a shorter mandatory period applies to a particular intermediary or content complaint, that shorter period controls. The response will record the outcome, action taken or reason more time or information is required.
- Keep the complaint reference
- Urgent unlawful-content and safety reports are triaged separately
- Payment and refund evidence remains linked to the transaction
- Delays or partial outcomes must be explained
External escalation
This process does not limit statutory consumer, police, court or regulator remedies. An unresolved consumer issue may be registered with the National Consumer Helpline at consumerhelpline.gov.in or 1915. Cyber financial fraud should be reported promptly through the Government of India cybercrime route or 1930, in addition to notifying BookPGnow.
- National Consumer Helpline: 1915
- Consumer portal: consumerhelpline.gov.in
- Cyber financial fraud helpline: 1930
- Emergency risk goes to local authorities first
