Refund guidance
BookPGnow separates the booking state, payment state and refund state so the amount and gateway reference remain auditable.
Eligibility is determined from the published booking terms, cancellation timing, delivered service and any approved deductions.
Once initiated, the refund should reference the original payment. Bank posting time can differ from the platform initiation time.
Common questions
A gateway refund normally returns to the original payment method unless the transaction record explicitly states another compliant route.
The platform can initiate a refund before the issuing bank posts it. Track both the platform refund state and the gateway reference.
